A whole-home redesign for a woman living on her own for the first time later in life — layers of travel photographs, family keepsakes, a vintage Snoopy collection, a feminine dining room, and a wine room given a soul of its own.

A blank canvas becomes a life on display

The living room's bare walls became a travel gallery — three floating shelves carrying a fabric world map, African figurines, and the photographs that let her relive her adventures every day.

She had spent a lifetime collecting — a vintage Snoopy collection packed away in boxes, family photographs never hung, souvenirs from travels around the world still in their wrapping. When she moved into a home of her own for the first time, the goal wasn't to furnish a house. It was to finally let a full, eclectic life be seen.

Every room was designed around a piece of her story. The Snoopy collection got a room of its own. The dining room — the first thing you see walking through the front door — became feminine and welcoming. A nondescript wine room was transformed, right down to a gallery wall hung at dog-dish height for her constant companion.

Room One

The Snoopy Room

A lifetime collection of vintage Snoopy and Peanuts memorabilia — once boxed away — now has a room of its own, with a Tom Everhart fine art print as the centerpiece and gallery walls built around every cherished piece.

A feminine first impression

The dining room is the first space you enter from the front door. Once plain and forgotten, it was reimagined with a sage-green accent alcove, a sculptural leaf chandelier, and floral textiles that set a warm, feminine tone the moment you walk in.

Reliving the adventures

A woman who has traveled the world shouldn't have to keep her memories in a drawer. Three floating shelves above the sideboard became a travel gallery — a fabric world map, carved African figurines, and framed photographs that let her revisit every journey.

The wine room, reimagined

A nondescript builder-grade wet bar was transformed into a proper wine room — and no detail was overlooked, right down to a gallery wall hung at dog-dish height so the family's constant companion has a collection of her own.
